How to Get to Lady Diana & St Georges
Our hotel is located very close to the Hakua
Goryu ski resort in the Hakuba valley.
It is quite easy to get to the Hakuba region of Nagano from
both the Tokyo region and also the Osaka/Nagoya regions of
Japan. Below are the most common ways to get here.
We highly recommend that you check with each train services
before making the journey. Please
refer to our maps below.
BY TRAIN
>>> From the Tokyo region:

Shinjuku > Hachiouji > Matsumoto > Kamishiro |

The Azusa and Super-Azusa limited express services run from
Shinjuku to Matsumoto, where you should change trains for the
journey to Kamishiro. (There
are a limited number of them running straight through to
Hakuba.) |

Tokyo > Nagano > Kamishiro |

The Nagano Shinkansen Asama
services run from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station. From
Nagano Station, there are bus services to nearby - the nearest
bus stop is "Goryu". |

The Shinano Limited Express
services run from Nagoya to Nagano. Change trains at
Matsumoto. From Osaka, use
the Shinkansen train services to Nagoya. |
BY CAR
>>> From Nagano
From the Nagano I.C. on the Joshinetsu
Expressway take Route 19 using the Hakuba-Nagano Olympic Route
to the Hakuba valley.
>>> From
Matsumoto
From the Toyoshina I.C. on the Nagano
Expressway, take Route 147, then Route 148 into Hakuba.
